Notification on Non-Tourist Categories

The Department of Immigration, Ministry of Home Affairs is pleased to notify that the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) shall not be applicable to foreigners visiting Bhutan under non-tourist categories with effective from 1 June 2023.

All applications must be submitted to the Department of immigration in line with the revised list of non-tourist categories of foreigners which can be downloaded at www.doi.gov.bt.

This notification is in reference to the letter issued by the Cabinet Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat on June 1, 2023.
