Please refer “Guidelines for Foreigners visiting Bhutan under Non-Tourist categories” for eligibility and requirements for visa/permit applications under Non-Tourists categories.
All visa applications shall be submitted to Visa Division, Department of Immigration, Thimphu. Turn Around Time for processing visa is 3 working days.
Entry Permit application for Personal Guest, Students and faculty on exchange program should be submitted to Immigration Service Division, Department of Immigration, Thimphu.
Entry Permit for other categories, will be facilitated from the respective Regional Immigration Office and Paro International Airport, subject to meeting the requirement in the Guidelines for Foreigners visiting Bhutan under Non-Tourist categories. Regional Immigration Offices are open from 9:00 AM till 5:00 PM during week days and closed on weekends and government holidays.
