The Department of Immigration would like to inform the general public that the immigration office, Kawajangsa, Thimphu will re-open from 21 March 2022 to facilitate key immigration services.
Therefore, only those requiring to visit the office in person to avail the services are requested to visit the office.
The following services shall continue to be facilitated via email by the concerned focal officer:
- Travel Clearance for Bhutanese travelling abroad (Email: sdk@mohca.gov.bt and sherabz@mohca.gov.bt)
- Re-entry approval for re-entry for eligible foreign nationals holding valid immigration permit (Email: nchogyal@mohca.gov.bt and kdelma@mohca.gov.bt)
This is being issued in compliance with the Press Release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office on 19 March 2022.
