The Department of Immigration would like to inform the general public that all foreign workers are required to undergo general health screening and drug testing. This includes foreign workers seeking re-entry into the country on the basis of a valid work permit.
This requirement is mandatory and work permits shall only be facilitated on submission of documentary evidence issued by a competent agency in Bhutan on having completed general health screening and drug testing.
