All children born to a Bhutanese and foreigner must be registered with the Department of Immigration.
Section 57 of the Immigration Rules and Regulations (2015) requires the parents of a child of such parentage to register their child with the Department of Immigration within one year of the birth of the child.
All parents of such children are urged to comply with this requirement without fail.
